Thornton Kontz

 

Thornton Kontz has over 30 years of legal experience. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and his juris doctorate’s degree from Mercer University in Georgia. While studying there, he received the American Jurisprudence Award in Evidence. Mr. Kontz also attended the University of Georgia School of Law for summer sessions.

 

After four years of practicing law in Atlanta and working for the Georgia Legislature, Mr. Kontz moved to California in 1984. He worked for several prestigious law firms in the San Jose/Santa Cruz County areas before forming his own partnership that practiced for 18 years as Comstock, Thompson, Kontz and Brenner. Recently, the firm moved their office and is now known as Thompson, Kontz & Brenner.
